To grow your business, you need to grow as a person. One of my business coaches once told me that there are 2 things that will skyrocket personal growth: Having children and having a business.
Reiki is a beautiful tool to help you grow as a person, gives you greater clarity around the direction you need to take your business in, and can help balance the energies of your business, helping your business to grow.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a path, a journey of self development and expansion. Reiki is a tool that when used correctly and consistently can empower you to look at all facets of yourself. It can help you to love the good about you, and accept the not so great. Reiki gives you guidance on how to change those aspects you don’t want to be a part of your life.
Reiki will not stop you from learning your life lessons, but it will help to you to swim in an ocean of gentle swells, not get drowned by massive waves. Your ability to deal with life will become stronger, your ability to bounce back becomes strengthened. Your perception on your lessons that you experience becomes one based on love and gratitude.
With this self growth, you become like a lighthouse to others, people see and feel your energy, and even if they cannot name it, or even understand it, they can sense it. They become attracted to it, they want to be in your energy. And as your powerful vibration meets with theirs, you help to uplift them just by being in your presence. So they may feel compelled to heal, to work on themselves, to advance on their own journey to enlightenment.
How Can Reiki Help Grow Your Business?
Whether you have a Reiki clinic, you teach Reiki, or you just know Reiki and would like to use it to help grow your business, it is a wonderful tool for growth and expansion. As you work on yourself, your fears, your blockages and remove them, your business will flourish.
As you bring more abundance into your energetic fields, it will encompass you and then spread out around you. You are a reflection of your business – your thoughts, your feelings, your beliefs. Use Reiki to strengthen the good ones, and remove the limiting ones and it will be impossible to not grow and experience abundance.
The catch– you have to practise Reiki daily and you cannot be afraid to confront all aspects of yourself.
How to incorporate Reiki into your business day…
When you work as a solo entrepreneur it can be hard to do everything and still have the time and motivation to sit down and do Reiki. But without it, nothing will change.
Sometimes when I sit down to do some Reiki on myself, my mind starts to think of my to-do list. The yang, the doing energy, kicks in and I get so excited that I immediately get up to do some of those things. Only to find I get through the whole day, or week, without doing Reiki. When I look back at the things with that amazing gift of hindsight, I see it did not always pay off. I would become so focussed on the “doing” aspects of my business, I would loose the bigger picture. I would end up re-doing things that were working fine, and ignoring doing other tactics that would actually grow my business. By giving up the “being” I would loose my focus, my clarity and just get busy.
I found by incorporating moving meditation into my routine, I was able to bring my yin and yang energies back into balance. Then I could spend some time doing Reiki which really helped me enhance my creativity and my intuition around business decisions. And the results were always worth it!
How to practise Reiki for your business?
There are many ways to practise Reiki, In fact, Mikao Usui choose to incorporate jumons (sound) with symbols (visual) with hands-on (kinaesthetic) healing to accomodate every person’s own unique personality and style.
Here are some of my favourite tools:
1 – Do a self healing on you to rid yourself of toxic energy built up over the day placing your hands in the Reiki self healing positions. To be honest, this is probably the technique I do the least on myself, I combine Reiki and Qigong into one session. This works best for me, but everyone is different and you need to find the technique that works best for you).
2 – For Shoden practitioners (or level one students) – practice Joshin Kokyo Ho (breathing into the lower hara and then out into your body, once your body is full of energy, breathe the energy out into the universe)
This meditation helps to calm the mind, and allows you to expand into your body. It also focuses on relieving tension in your body. This is a great opportunity to see where you have a tendency to store tension and you can then explore this deeper through meditation.
Or you can also do the hara cleanse meditation here:
3 – For Okuden practitioners (Level 2) – you can practise the above or you can choose to work with the symbols. Repetitively draw symbol one (choku-rei) over and over again for at least 5-10 minutes.
The spiral represents going inwards, so you can focus on the inner journey, allowing the external influences to fall away. Then go into meditation, allowing your mind to focus on nothing at all. Simply become an observer of your mind.
4 – For Okuden or Shinpiden practitioners – take a few deep breaths to calm your body and mind, then begin to chant whichever Jumon you are feeling intuitively drawn too (you may chant all three jumons, or just focus on one). Spend at least 15 minutes chanting, allowing the vibration to clear your mind and your energy fields.
5 – Journalling
Once you have spent some time doing any one (or more than one if you feel drawn to do so), do some journaling. Focus on one topic you need to explore in your life right now.
If you need some help getting started, here are some examples for you:
- How do I feel right now?
- What is going right in my life?
- What do I need to let go of to help grow my business?
- What do I need to do more of to help grow my business?
- What do I love about myself?
- What do I love about my business?
Remember when you are journalling that you never stop writing. As soon as you stop your conscious mind takes over, so keep the pen moving. This may mean you need to spend some time just writing down the same sentence over and over. But keep writing, when the words are inspired to come, they will just flow.
You will soon find yourself feeling more certain about which direction to take, which social media accounts to focus on, which ones are appropriate to just maintain a presence. If you find you have blockages around making videos, you can use Reiki to help dissolve them, and begin making more videos. Essentially, you will be able to do what is best for your business, not your fears.
To your business success,
Blessings,
Sylvia
